This 2.5 hour excursion travels up the North Shore to a turnaround point and back to the Depot. \nEnjoy Ribs\, chicken\, beans\, coleslaw\, cornbread and yummy bread pudding for dessert. After dinner\, enjoy  music piped through the train\, or wander to the bar car then come back to sit-back and enjoy the view from your seat on the SkyView domecar. Tickets include the ride\, your meal\, and water. Additional beverages for sale. \n \n  \nAll tickets start at $70.00 adults\, $70 children (ages 0-13. Ages 2 and under are free in “Pizza Train” section of this train)\, with processing fees added at checkout.\nMay – July weekend dates\nReservations Required – Limited seating \nThis Dinner Train consists of the SkyView Dining/Domecar\, in booth-style seating. Seating selection will be found on the following purchase page. We’re sorry but due to the historic nature of the rail equipment\, this is not a wheelchair accessible excursion. This is considered a first-class section of the train\, and all passengers are expected to behave in a first-class fashion for the respect of other patrons. Children are allowed\, however all passengers must purchase a ticket due to limited seating in the domecar. Alternatively\, ages 2 and under are free in the Pizza Party Express train\, which is attached on most excursions (similar to first-class sectioning)\nDietary restrictions: This excursion offers very few alternatives for dietary restrictions. Meals plated can withhold items\, but no substitutions are available. There are no Vegetarian/Vegan options\, except for coleslaw and/or cornbread. The beans side-dish contains meat. Gluten Free is limited  to the chicken and coleslaw only. Gluten is in the BBQ sauce\, so the Ribs and beans\, and cornbread are not GF. This is unique opportunity to ride in a retired railroad caboose. Sit up in the cupola and enjoy the ride! \n Package includes:\n\nA round trip\, 75-minute scenic excursion attached to the Duluth Zephyr train or ride a full 2.5 hour excursion behind the Northwoods Explorer daytime trip.\nUp to 10 people flat rate. Same price for 1 person\, or 10 people.\nCooler of soda/water/juice complimentary for the ride\nNarrated tour on the caboose (PA system when available)\, plus a car attendant if you have more specific questions.\nAdmission to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum for your entire group.\n\nTwo Options:\n75-Minute\, Duluth Zephyr Tour (7 miles one way\, then back): $300 flat rate for up to 10 people. \n\n2.5 Hour\, Northwoods Explorer Tour (16 miles one way\, then back): $350 flat rate for up to 10 people. \n\n______________________________________________________________________________________ \nScheduled most Saturdays in June-August\, or by request (starting in August)\, atleast two weeks in advance. \nThere is no heat or air conditioning in the caboose\, however windows do open for a great lake breeze. Larger parties are encouraged to ride as a group on the Duluth Zephyr Excursion train operating at the same time. It is a historic\, workers caboose\, far from the lap of luxury. But a unique opportunity to experience what caboose duty was like. \nA cooler of non-alcoholic beverages is available for caboose passengers\, and light snacks (chips/candy) \nUnfortunately\, due to the historic nature of the caboose\, this is not a wheelchair accessible ride.
