Fall Colors Tour to Knife River – SOLD OUT

New this year, this train is a 3 hour excursion that travels up the shore during the most beautiful time of the year. The trip travels about 20 miles to the village of Knife River for a very brief stop to turnaround and come back. Passengers have an option to get out to briefly deboard to stretch their legs and checkout the recently restored Depot building before the train heads back to Duluth. The return time is just after 1pm (this train arrives as another train leaves the Duluth Depot at 1pm).

CNN named the 6-hour North Shore Fall Color Train Tours along Lake Superior the “Top 5 of the Top 10 in America!”

All passengers will get a box lunch included in their ticket price, along with a water. Additional concessions are available on the train. Meat or vegetarian option is available for the box lunches. The lunches include a sandwich, chips, and a dessert.
