Beer Tasting Train

The annual Beer Train is back, hosted by Bernicks, and the area’s leading local breweries and brew pubs
Climb aboard the North Shore Scenic Railroad’s historic coaches, and wander the train during this 2.5 hour ride. Onboard, visit various beer tasting brewer tables, and sample what they have to offer. In the First Class section of the train, have a seat in our fancy dining car, your ticket will also include food, and fun “swag!”
Breweries tentatively featured (subject to change): Castle Danger, Bent Paddle, Blacklist, Modist, Surly, Summit, New Belgium, Duluth Cider, Shiner, Earth Rider, Sierra Nevada, Fulton
Coach/General Admission $45
Coach seats are general seating and tastings in two bar-cars with all the beer you can taste.
First Class $75
First Class seats include complimentary local pizza and pub snacks, a seat in the Elegant Dining Car, and table service.
Designated Driver $30
Coach seating only, and includes the ride with complimentary soda/juice/water from the concession stand. All passengers must be 21 or older to ride this train. DD’s can hang with everyone in the party, just can’t get any beer samples.

This excursion is a fundraiser event for the Lake Superior Railroad Museum’s mission to preserve, interpret and present to the public the history of railroading, especially as it relates to our area.
